“I'm the Dad from Dad & Daughter. We started more than 30 years ago, right here in Nashville, born from an idea of demonstrating our faith and helping you get the most out of your garage doors.”
For Dad, it was a way for a proud husband and father to provide for his family, and to be a better husband, father, and teammate. He and his crew of technicians do what they do best: maintaining, repairing, and installing the highest-quality garage door equipment. The lift springs alone store thousands of pounds of force, it's heavy, dangerous work that takes real dedication and expertise. The paperwork? That's not his happy place, which is where Daughter comes in.

The business side of business is Daughter's happy place. She's the first in the family to graduate college, and earn an MBA after that.
She puts that education to work running the best business we can: serving customers quickly and efficiently, communicating clearly, and listening closely. She negotiates with the best suppliers to bring you the best products at the best prices. As Dad puts it, “She makes us better, and she makes me better, too.”

Built on a foundation of faith
Our story is inspired by real life, by Cornerstone's founder, Jim Mulholland, whose faith drew him to build a business with a ministry, and by our owner, Bryan Huddleston: a man of faith, a husband, a father, and a hands-on entrepreneur. One day his daughters, Alexis, Anna Grace, and Ava Brooke, may carry it forward, alongside the families of every technician on our team.
It all comes down to knowing what you're good at and being good at what you know , a belief in faith, family, respect, collaboration, and excellence, and a commitment to earning your loyalty with everything we do. As a team, and as a family.
